IRGL Creative is seeking a Social Media Manager to join our team on a part-time basis to help us manage and grow our online presence across various social media platforms. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for creating and executing a social media strategy that supports our business objectives and engages with our target audience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a social media strategy that aligns with IRGL Creative's business goals and target audience
- Create and publish high-quality, engaging content on social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Manage blog (IRGL Creative Journal) on agency website and create weekly posts, including wellwritten, engaging posts, that align with our brand voice and messaging.
- Monitor and manage our social media accounts on a daily basis, responding to comments and messages and handling customer service inquiries
- Analyse and report on the performance of our social media campaigns, making recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with other members of the IRGL Creative team to integrate social media into other marketing initiatives
- Manage our email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp, including designing and sending out newsletters, building and managing mailing lists, and analysing performance
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices
- Write compelling, engaging content for website, social media posts, and email marketing campaigns
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a strong understanding of social media platforms and audiences
- Candidate must be available to able to work as a freelancer, not an employee
- A portfolio of social media content that showcases your creative abilities
- Fluent and proficient in English language
- Strong time-management and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for social media, blog posts, website content and email marketing campaigns
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics)
- Proficient in use of Canva
- Experience with email marketing platforms, such as Mailchimp
- Knowledge of the latest social media trends and best practices
- Strong content writing skills, with the ability to write for a variety of audiences and formats
